Water swivel is a part which provides a watertight or airtight rotating joint to connect the pump to the drill rod with a high pressure hose. Most water swivels can use with a variety of flushing mediums including water, air, foam, or bentonite drilling fluids.

Water Swivels are made of high-quality alloy steel and with replaceable V-ring packing style seal gland for standard drilling applications.

Water Swivel Features:

●Available in compact, standard duty, heavy duty and underground types with accordingly sized spindle porting and an NPT side fluid supply connection.

●Spring loaded, self-adjusting gland packings ensure reliable seal.

●Easily replaceable hardened packing wear sleeves protect the spindle from packing wear.

●Weep holes prevent any leakage past the packing from reaching the bearing, and also indicate packing condition to the operator.

●Protected grease fitting to allow easy lubrication of bearings. Lubrication path conducts

contaminants away from the bearing and relieves excess lubrication pressure.

●Easily disassembled with pipe wrenches, a screw driver, spanner wrench, and soft mallet, for easy packing or wear sleeve replacement.

●Suitable for use with water or drilling mud only. Packings and mating wear sleeves are subject to wear and generally operate with a small degree of leakage depending on rpm and vibration levels.

●Adapter Subs are available to adapt to BQ, NQ,HQ,PQ,BRQ,NRQ,HRQ,PHD drill rods.
