Reaming shell is a part of wireline drilling system. It is mounted between outer tube and diamond bits. when drilling,the diameter of the drill hole is gradually reduced and the drill hole is slightly tapered. This situation is caused by the radial wear of the diamond bit. So the reaming shell is needed.The main function of reaming shell is to keep the drill hole size to the nominal diameter. To let the new changed diamond bit to be lowered into the bottom of the drill hole without getting stuck. Another function of reaming shell is to stabilize the core barrel and prevent the swing.

CGEO mainly offer two types of diamond bits:

-Surface Set Diamond Reaming Shells(SS R/M)
